Synopsis

Iris Almeria, the daughter of a powerful duke, is arrested and forced to her knees in front of her fiancée. Her betrothed, Prince Edward, is rejecting her for another woman! As Iris’s life flashes before her eyes, she suddenly realizes she knows exactly what is coming next–because she has been reincarnated into her favorite otome game as its villainess. Quick thinking saves her from exile, but Iris can’t rest yet. If she wants to survive this world that sees her as wicked, she’ll have to change the world itself.

  1. In reading the first volume, while pleasant enough, it seems a poor copy of other works. For instance, a mash-up of things like “Hamefura” and “Ascendance of a Bookworm”. I don’t know which came first, this or Bookworm… but this seems to mirror a bunch of stuff in Bookworm (everything from shampoo to an orphanage) but unlike Bookworm which is extremely detailed, this never spends any itme or details on anything and just moves ahead, surface instead of details. Again, pleasant enough, but in the end, to me at least, a pale copy of other works (the same things, literally!) but in the other works the authors spent much more time on details, and delved into things, instead of casually just giving a few lines then zipping along to the next “same thing”. To those who have grandparents still alive, it’s kind of like the Readers Digest version of other works (or Cliff Notes version of other works).

    1. Stop saying shit like copying. Just because it has some similar elements doesn’t mean it is copied. It’s like saying every isekai is copying each other.

    1. FINALLY! One of my fave WN. I’m excited to read this again in LN.
I’ve read the WN..maybe around 2 years ago and in my opinion, the story does not revolve in love or whatever romantic plot there is only a tiny little bit.. It’s more of a Kingdom building. And a lot of drama. And there’s no harem at all! So, I recommend this to anyone who likes female protagonist who isekai’d. 🙂

    1. This series is insanely good. An OG Otome Isekai that has a cool story, fluffy characters with important development. If you haven’t read the WN, then congrats, you can read and enjoy this one
