It is now caught up to the fan translations (at least the ones I read a couple years ago and the translators stopped after doing 2 volumes).
So now the wait for whenever volume 3 comes out to find out what happens next.
Was always upset with how this one ended and how there were no other translations for the next volume at the time (if you read it you’ll understand). Honestly not checked recently if fans translated further, but at the time, I looked all over the place going “Really? You’re stopping at that point?”…..
OH, just looked since I mentioned I haven’t checked in the last couple years.
Seems a group did pick it up a bit, and has done up to vol 4 in fan translations (yay).
Another group also picked up the WN version too it seems (that also didn’t exist when I was desperately looking around for what happened next, those years back…. the fan translation of the WN also ended at actually just before the end of the events of vol 2….).
So yay for unofficial translations to hold one over if one needs it while waiting for the official releases.
Yup, definitely wait for the official translations.
The other fan translations that looked like they were the LN’s translation are just the WN translation.
Of which those WN translations are essentially MTL’s of the CN version of the novel MTL’d to EN…..
They’re not good…
But if you do want to read them, Vol 3 starts with WN ch 55……
