Synopsis
Broke and recently homeless, fledgling wandmaker Ix leaves his isolated village in search of employment only to run into Yuui, a girl with a contract entitling her to a free wand repair from his late instructor. But when Ix decides to honor the guarantee and complete the job in his teacher’s stead, he quickly realizes that this is no routine tune-up. Against all odds, Yuui’s wand is powered by the heart of a mythical creature thought to have gone extinct over a thousand years ago—a dragon. To complete the restoration and put both their pasts to rest, the pair must now uncover the truth behind the dragons’ disappearance from the world…

I kinda slept on this story, waiting for a few more novels to come out before I gave it a chance so there would be plenty to read. The first novel was very interesting, its certainly a well crafted story, simply following the life of a wand maker’s apprentice attempting to fullfil his last order. It is sort of a slow paced, fantasy/slice of life. It really makes you feel a connection to the characters, with all of them being fully formed people, not a loose connection of character traits. It truly feels like these characters existed before the novel took place, and they have lived their own lives leading up to these events. I am certainly excited as I start reading the second novel
this is interesting. bit different than your typical fantasy ln. good read
It really is well written. Excited for what comes next in the next volume.
Wow a new IP Hu? Those are kinda rare nowdays, i really hadnt heard of this one at all, too Bad it seems kind of … Idk meh? Or who knows really it’s a little rare to have puré fantasy and no isekai, though the novel cover screams bait.
The girl does look great though, real good lol.
Its well written imo.
Really? Well thats good need, with everything i’m following sometimes i just forget to check out new series i’m not really sold on but well i’ll try this one then.
Haven’t read this novel yet, but I honestly think there are way too many isekai light novels. In a lot of stories it is used as a crutch, not as a plot element to enhance the story(its easy to use, people understand it as a regular occurnace in light novels, and some light novels simply use it so the author doesn’t have to create an actual backstory for the character, and just say that the character randomly appeared in the world) althlough there is definately some great isekai novels that use the plot device well.
