Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells

Synopsis

Revenge in another world–with an abnormal twist!

Abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, Mimori Touka and his classmates have been summoned by the world’s resident Goddess to serve as heroes. Luckily, most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival—except for Mimori, whose abilities bottom out at a measly E-rank. With no further use for him, the Goddess banishes Mimori to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. Yet, as it turns out, Mimori’s skills aren’t so much worthless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, even. If Mimori can only claw his way back to the surface, nothing will stand in his way from getting revenge.

  1. You know that Spaceballs scene, “I knew it, I’m surrounded by assholes!”? (https://youtu.be/wHNB8IHfHdU?t=51 for the uninitiated.)

Take that, then make it apply to the entire universe.

Like actually, there are a few people with morals but I can honestly say it applies to less than a handful of the characters in this entire series. It’s almost praiseworthy how unashamedly evil practically every character is here. God help you if you think someone starts off being somewhat normal or good-minded, because without a doubt that’s sure to end in a page or two. I’ve read all six volumes here so far and I don’t think there’s a single instance I can point out to the contrary, other than the obvious victims in need of rescue.

At this point I’m just reading to see how far the train wreck can keep going with this wholly imbalanced universe and constantly caricatured evil.

If you’re seeing this before trying it out, I don’t recommend you subject yourself to this tripe. It’s like if someone removed all the charm, idiosyncrasies, and overreaching plot from Arifureta and tried presenting their MC as a character who truly ‘earned’ their edgy mindset in the opening arc of the story, then shoving that edgy character into a wider world just as relentlessly fanfiction-evil as they are (but not really, but yes according to the author they’re still evil and just as unapologetic about it, the author INSISTS you recognize that in their notes).

It’s cringe fanfiction with the few art panels normally taken up by semi-nude females, so make of that what you will.

  2. Author of this series is so inconsistent lol
Mana cost of skill : 10
    MC MP : 33
And then he use that skill in the next scene 7 times im short time.

  3. First novel was practically Arifureta, didn’t have much meat, all pure setup and power level. Hopefully the next volumes will be better plot wise, but I like these kinds of novels regardless.

  4. Omg…. Either publishers are going after everything out of syosetsu or they just are trying to import everything they possibly can, I mean I never I. Hundred years expected this one…. I mean I am beyond happy about it, but yes never expected this… Yeahhhhhhhh I hope the translation is not too terrible… Publishers don’t respect jap honorific after all and once translated they simply sound wrong
    Great upload dude….. Thanks
The web trans is a bit rough around the edges, is hard to follow at times….

    1. > Publishers don’t respect jap honorific

You don’t even know that JAP is the slur word for japanese, smh

      1. I was about to say the same thing. “JP” and “JPN” are just as short and easy to type if you for the life of you can’t type “Japanese”, just gotta make the mental switch from [historical racial slur that still gets used by racists today] to one of those.

      2. yall oversensitive much? he’s clearly not using it as a slur, and to anyone who hasn’t heard it as a slur, JAP is a perfectly normal abbreviation, just as CHI for Chinese, or KOR for Korean

            1. Hmm weird, i just tested and it works for me. Why don’t you try using incognito/private browsing or a different browser and see if it works?
