I’m going to make this school my harem!

I was wondering, what’s the difference between this and reading off of https://occult-research.club/project/index.php?title=High_School_DxD (a sneaky fan translation site saving all the content from baka-tsuki and adding more to the translations, really it shouldn’t even be up I don’t think considering publishers came for baka-tsuki’s translations)? Is this the official published version, whilst the website formerly mentioned is simply web novel translations? Considering the website mentioned above goes all the way to the most recently put out volume by the author, I was curious if it’s even worth reading these LN translations, if the quality of translation and general wording doesn’t change much.
The novels hosted here are the official translations, and the fan site are the fan translations compiled. I can tell you that the quality is definitely not the same. The fan site reads very much like a fan translation. It’s passable, but reads a bit stilted and awkward.
Of course, it’s going to take literally years for the official translations to catch up, so if you want to read the more recent stuff, you don’t really have other options.
You could also read 1 volume of each to compare for yourself and see if you care enough about the differences.
It says Volume 2 was to be added on 19th January, but it’s already the 25th? Was there an unexpected setback or something?
