女王陛下の異世界戦略Her Majesty’s SwarmIsekai Zerg Queen
Synopsis

Our protagonist is a college student who enjoys playing as the evil-aligned faction Arachnea in her favorite real-time strategy game. One day, she finds herself in a world similar to the one in the game; additionally, her body is now that of a fourteen-year-old girl. While things are a bit different from how they were in the game, one element has remained the same: she is the leader of the Arachnea. The insects under her control, collectively known as the Swarm, praise her and implore her to lead them to victory. In order to survive, she raises her Swarm and forms friendly relations with the elves of the neighboring forest. But after a slaver traveling through the forest murders one of her Swarm and the nearby kingdom’s knights burn down the elven village and massacre its people, she prepares to launch her counterattacks in the name of revenge. However, revenge is merely a pretense for attacking the countries of this world. Her command is masterful and severe, as one who has played the game in real life…

  1. This series starts with a decent ‘RTS’ campaign, and mid-way through it ended up being just like “The Last of Us 2 depressed stuff”, IF ONLY the 2 “gods” (for lack of a better term) werent there, it’ll be fine.

The good god praised the mc and demanded her to follow the mankind path, and stop killing wtf?? them gods cant even think straight just like the elves in this novel.

The MC also didnt think things through, despite being a somewhat professional RTS gamer, living in a similar world of a game she plays all the time. I’m kinda offended even as a casual RTS gamer

It’s also a neverending trance, filled with campaigns. The idea is already great just like Youjo Senki and Drifters, but the author cant deliver it. Wasted af.

  2. Is it me or does the MC appear to just magically obtain information and just wing it by saying she obtained it from x character when there was absolutely no chance they would have provided it. Like, imagine me being an elf of a secluded elven village. One day two brats were kidnapped by retarded humans but a mysterious person who controls hideous monsters saves them. Now, why would my whole village be indebted to her? Why would I nonchalantly invite her for dinner? Why would I have casual conversations with them? Why would I fill every piece of common knowledge through her sense skull? Why WOULDN’T I BE fucking afraid of her? Oh yeah, because the author decided she needed to just have an ally for no reason.

    1. It’s said that she ‘controls’ the hive’s minds, she mustve got a lot of scouts and workers to do so too. Tho it really needs more details on how thing’s progressing/works. I give it a pass cuz it’s based on RTS instead of the usual DnD/RPG.

Also, the Elves are kinda nerfd hard unlike other series lmao. Not only they seem weak, they also dont seem to have much intellect (which may lead to them being unwise to trust the Arachne) Which is, i’d say a “lazy writing”, but i’ll give it a pass too since it’s Japanese Fiction.

Just need more details to clear things up.

  3. Pace and story telling is not so good and so many repeated lines like in Overlord “the hurting stomach he didn’t have” something like that, just a good read

    1. something like . “a puppet whoose strings had been cut” for who ever simply dies with no visible action but simply died and fell over
this line is used in so many LN’s its not even weird anymore for it to be seen
