Synopsis
Ah, high school. Is there any better place to start fresh after a horrible middle school relationship? Nope! Not unless your ex ends up at the same school as you and is now your stepsibling. What was supposed to be a sanctuary of peace where I could avoid ever seeing her again has become a living nightmare! Everywhere I look, I see her—in my house, in my school, in my class. There’s no escape! She even claims that she’s the older sibling. Like hell she is! But I won’t lose to her. After all, I’m the older brother in this new family situation. That’s right, we’re family now. No matter how much we may have thought we loved each other before, we saw one another’s true colors and realized we weren’t meant for each other. That’s why even though we may keep up a buddy-buddy sibling act for the sake of our parents, things will never go back to the way they used to be.

Damn this one finally comes out after it’s been hyped so much, I only hope that the romance isn’t fucking dragged out to hell ….. Welp I’ve seen that the fan translations are at volume 9 and still nothing soooo ……
Imma hope the characters are fun enough to carry it, though I really, really hate when the romance goes nowhere for so long.

There’s 8 volumes atm dude but this author … Every volume he kinda resets the relationship you know, it doesn’t matter how close the pair gets by the next volume they’ll be half wiped again you know … It’s the author wanting to drag shit on with the “will they won’t they” bullshit and having terrible planning to actually pace the relationship so he just makes every damn volume be the same fucking shit over and over.
It’s infuriating if you’re looking for actual development, author just shit the bed instead of actually following along with his own progress and showing their relationship he’s one of those types that feel the need to blueball the readers till the end, so it makes the characters not feel real and as of they’re actually developing cuz you know anything that happens in the volume won’t matter as it needs to be erased next volume to have the same plot of “ohh wow they actually do still love each other”, so their development feels artificial and stunted.
It’s a fun series though I do like the main pair a lot and some of the side cast but yeah it has a lot of pacing problems.
