  1. Hi, i can’t download vol.1 of this novel.
The userscloud link won’t seem to respond when i try to enter password to download the file

    1. The original link still works, refer to the sticky post on the frontpage if you can’t see the link. I have reuploaded the mirror link.

  2. God i hate this stupid japanese cliché of the protagonist and everyone around him mocking his class because it’s an unknown class. It’s so retarded, and it makes no sense at all. Aren’t powerful classes rare? So shouldn’t they wait and and see what the class can do before mocking it since it’s a class that has never appeared in the world, the rarest class? Of course, sometime some rare classes are bad too, but still, it makes no sense to jugde it that fast.

    1. Unless there was a long history in that world that every case of a unknown or rare class being bad is the case. This isn’t something that you or any reader knows though and is something that just has to be assumed in that world.

Making then the common sense that, other than the established classes that have been thoroughly researched now have a known power/ability rating. This oddball classes are now known to not be worth even noting in history and think of it this way. A single person generally doesn’t have the ability and time to research all the ins and outs of something as complicated as a class on their own when they need to make a living to, well, feed themselves and put a roof over their head. Instead of trying to bank on some unknown ability that may amount to nothing.

This is called taking a gamble and one that probably never (at least almost never) works out.

With all of that, it makes sense to feel doubt in this seemingly dud of a card one was dealt and gives easy room for others to mock or take pity on. People like to focus on what is different and it is sadly in human nature to take the more nasty side of things.

      —-

Now you personally, know that this is a story. That the MC has plot armor.

His ability/job must be amazing in some way. Is either rare or the MC somehow has the know how, ingenuity, or modern common sense of our world, to make use of this ability in ways that, because of the way science, magic and the like developed in that world, would never have thought of.

No matter how much it makes sense to you, the reader….

You have to take it from the view of people of the world that this is taking place in.

They do not have the same general level of education.

Think of it. If you grew up in that setting, knowing nothing of our world, how would you view it then? You were taught their way from the time you were born. Taught that this is the way the world works. The way things have always been. The adults believe it to be so. The children believe it to be so.

      It’s called empathy.

You’ll get more out of a story if you work on this skill yourself.
