It’s more of a story that takes place in GGO’s world than a SAO spin-off, but does the like specification really matter?
I honestly don’t think Spin-Off fits this story. It’s based off of Reki Kawahara’s work, yes, but…let’s face it Keiichi Sigsawa just does so much better work with the world of GGO, and his characters are much more interesting and relatable. If *I* were to give it a description? I’d say “SAO but portrayed by a superior writer”.
Well, maybe you should check the SAO: Progressive novel then.
I’m pretty sure you will change your mind about Kawahara.
Superior? GGO makes Kawahara look good in comparison.
Yeah this is Keiichi’s forte so its no surprise that he does so well in portraying this spin-off.
