Why Shouldn’t a Detestable Demon Lord Fall in Love

嫌われ魔王が没落令嬢と恋に落ちて何が悪い!Kiraware Maou ga Botsuraku Reijou to Koi ni Ochite Nani ga Warui!

Meet Anima, the all-powerful Demon Lord! The denizens of his world go pale at the mere mention of his name, and those who dare to challenge him are naught but fools. He can get his hands on anything he desires—anything but a happy family.
Rather than conquering the world, he spends his days in his house in the middle of a barren wasteland, lamenting over his loneliness. That is, until the fateful day the beautiful maiden Luina summons him to her world. A simple glance at her gentle eyes is enough to capture Anima’s heart and soul. He swears right then and there that he will protect her and the two little angels she’s raising with his life.

  1. Surprisingly cute tale although the world the story is set in is a bit of a “Crapsack World”, especially in the first volume, with women terribly mistreated, corrupt nobility as a matter of course and a terrible class and caste system going on outside of Anima’s loving family. This is a bit explainable in that the world was almost destroyed 300 years before by a world-ending demon called The Harbringer which was barely defeated, leaving the story world incredibly ruined.

Personally, the first volume is a bit off-putting and very dark because of the two antagonists of the story that openly talk of rape and torture when planning their misdeeds interspersed with the contrast of lovey-dovey scenes with Anima and his new family. IMHO, the second volume is much better and very entertaining with much less darkness outside of Anima and Luina’s new adventures with their family.

    1. A chuunibyou virgin’s first romance fanfic. Idealistic and syrupy sweet enough to make you nauseated. Stilted, unrealistic converstaion and drown you in sap romanticism. I loved every damn page.

  2. This is the sweetest thing I’ve ever read~
If anyone is on the fence, I’d recommend you download and read it right away!
    Totally worth it!

Also, thanks a lot for the awesome work!
