previous version (like mushoku tensei 1-2 that will be replace in May) where censored in some parts. they have the same contnt, but they re-added the explicit content
the censorship came from the editing team, translator said to not know that some parts were being cut off

There is nothing “explicit” about the thing they cut. It’s just plain laziness.
didn’t read COTE, but most of the cut content in Mushoku is about Rudeus perverted side, there are some comparison on r/lightnovels between JP/fan/EN
I don’t know if is from some form of SJW, or just stupid localization, but i doubt it’s laziness (otherwise they wouldn’t have spent time editing a text already translated). Well, nvm. what’s important is that they’ll learn from this, and not do the same again
Just a rough estimate but my ebook reader showed an additional 40 pages worth of content compared to the previous version of vol. 7. It went from something like ~200 pages to ~240 pages. In other words, you definitely need to get the new version and re-read it. If you only want to find out what’s changed, you can use the calibre function to compare books, it might work.
