  1. > This is a full list of all the light novel volumes we’re currently missing right now as of the latest update :

(*In regards to J-Novel Club, this list only includes the “regular edition” of volumes that have yet to be uploaded. I’ll probably be making another list soon with all the missing “premium edition releases” as well, for the people that want it.)

(**This list is put together by alphabetical order, as you can probably (read: hopefully) tell.)

(***This list also includes a few “physical only” releases, like the “Monogatari Series”. I’ve them here amongst the rest for the sole reason that they are actively being OCRed by some individuals. By including them as well, we can keep track of their progress.)

    • The List •
    ========

    – Ao Oni – Volumes 01-03 [J-Novel Club]
    – Baccano! – Volumes 06-08 [Yen Press]
    – Boogiepop – Volumes 04-06 [Seven Seas]
    – Dawn of the Mapmaker – Volume 01 [Cross Infinite World]
    – Durarara!! – Volumes 09-10 [Yen Press]
    – Gear Drive – Volume 01 [J-Novel Club]
    – Kingdom Hearts II – Volume 02 [Yen Press]
    – Mia and the Forbidden Medicine Report – Volume 01 [Cross Infinite World]
    – Monogatari Series – Volumes 08-10 [Vertical]
    – Monster Girl Doctor – Volume 03 [Seven Seas]
    – My Little Sister Can Read Kanji – Volume 04 [J-Novel Club]
    – Obsessions of an Otome Gamer – Volume 01 [Cross Infinite World]
    – Perfect Blue: Awaken from a Dream [Seven Seas]
    – Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles – Volume 01 [J-Novel Club]
    – Sorcerous Stabber Orphen – Volume 01 [J-Novel Club]
    – The Champions of Justice and the Supreme Ruler of Evil – Volume 01 [Cross Infinite World]
    – The Combat Baker and Automaton Waitress – Volume 05 [BookWalker]
    – The Dark Maidens [Vertical]
    – The Stationmaster [Viz]
    – Toaru Majutsu no Index – Volumes 15-16 [Yen Press]
    – Toradora! – Volume 02 [Seven Seas]
    – Yume Nikki: I Am Not in Your Dream [J-Novel Club]

Personally, the releases I’d like to get the most are as follows :

    • Monogatari Series
    • Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles
    • Toaru Majutsu no Index
    and
    • Toradora!

      1. There isn’t. But one great soul has been digitizing it. He has digitized till Neko(white) and started on kabukimonogatari. Well he takes around 2-3 months to finish.

      2. No, it doesn’t. That’s why I said I included some physical only releases that are being OCRed instead. If you weren’t aware already, this post on nyaa includes the first 6 official volumes of the Monogatari series.

Also, the newest update, 5.1, also includes volume 07.

      1. Well, as I’ve also stated above, while it doesn’t have digital editions for any of the volumes in the series, I still included it because of the fact that somebody’s going through the trouble of OCRing each of the respective volumes. They’re now working on volume 08, Kabukimonogatari. In my post above, I’ve included the link where you are able to download said volumes. If you’re a fan of the Monogatari series and didn’t know about this, I’m sure this news will be a very pleasant surprise for you.

    1. Hate to ruin the fun but all these can easily be traced back to you, you may have cleared the ID from .opf and copyright but because of the tool you used (Calibre) the epub (in essence a zip archive) retained timestamps for images and .xhtml files from the time of your download. For future I suggest editing with Sigil, which the publisher uses to create these ebooks in the first place.

      1. Hello,

I do not understand what you mean, and if it’s true… if you use caliber it always leaves residues, that’s why it’s better to use Sigil if you are going to edit.

@Jowy that you have changed? because I keep seeing the same thing, and in metadata theme still the same. And please use Sigil

        1. I re-saved the files using sigil (after i run them through calibre), it re-sets (updates) the timestamps of the individual files inside if you open the epub as a zip file. The ids you see are the book ids so to speak, the part that is tied to the user-id has been removed, is what i understand.

Yes it may add more junk in the files if i process them using both programs but i can deal with that.

          1. Ah ok, but what I’m wondering… why do you use Calibre? is it for adding the metadata? if so, use Sigil because this program is dedicated to create ebooks

@Jowy I’m not criticizing you, it’s just a way for me to improve on quality of ebooks. And as always … thank you for your work and all the others who contribute in bringing the novels.

            1. I used to rely on sigil but then i hit a roadblock with DeDRMing some books, and switched to Calibre, and haven’t had a problem with DeDRM since. And sometimes, some people have issues with their eReader not reading the ebooks because of remnant (junk) files from Kobo or Adobe DRM, calibre has a plugin to clean that up in 2 clicks. Calibre is also the software i use to DeDRM my kobo books, so it’s just convenient to do everything in this software.

              Don’t worry i’m not offended =)

  2. Thanks for the “Arifureta” Premium’s.

    Eagerly waiting for,
    – “Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki” Vol 06 Premium (since the extra chapters are supposed to confirm an important point)
    – “Arifureta Zero” Vol 01 Premium
    – “In Another World With My Smartphone” Vol 01-09 Premium

  3. Thanks a bunch, you guys! I’ve wanted to read those Arifureta SSs ever since I read them on Vol01 xD
And, of course, thanks for all the other Premium Volumes.
