Hi! Thanks for sharing.
Just info, your vol.11 of this novel has been flagged by defender as Trojan (Trojan:Script/Oneeva.A!ml).
I know this warning is just false positive, but it would be better if you can try to fix this false so other people won’t having the same problem in the future
No, there’s nothing i can do about this, as I have mentioned many times before. Look at this Virustotal report, the file is clean. Your antivirus is flagging the link, not the file itself. Even so, the link is fine. The only thing you can do is probably to turn off heuristics, add an exception, or ignore it.
I can not read this epub file. It seems to be a broken.
At least my calibre shows some errors stating:
“EPUB appears to be invalid ZIP file, trying a more forgiving ZIP parser”
and “ValueError: Not a ZIP file”
My other Ebook Reader (MoonReader) does not work either.
I was able to extract the epub files with 7zip and create a new proper zip file from that data.
This new generated zip (epub) can be read.
??? No wait, you need to extract the epub from the zip file, and you can just use the epub directly. Why do you need to put it into another zip file??
I did not need to put the epub in a zip file.
I opened the zip with 7zip, went further into the epub (opened the epub), copied that content (from within the epub) to disk and created a new zip with it. Renamed it to .epub and it works.
Unfortunately, just extracting the epub and opening it with a reader did not work for me, as mentioned in the first comment.
Hmm, I’m afraid I’m unable to reproduce your issue. I tried downloading the file and I unzipped it with the correct password, then put the epub into calibre and it works perfectly. I can only advise you to re-download and possibly use a different unzipper or something. If it still doesn’t work, then perhaps just continue using the method that works for you…
Somehow Windows Defender blocks the file since it contains a trojan (Trojan:Script/Sabsik.TE.A!ml)
Refer to FAQs. Files are safe, it’s just heuristics
