Synopsis

Read the novel that ignited the phenomenon!

In the year 2022, gamers rejoice as Sword Art Online – a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) like no other – debuts, allowing players to take full advantage of the ultimate in gaming technology: NerveGear, a system that allows users to completely immerse themselves in a wholly realistic gaming experience. But when the game goes live, the elation of the players quickly turns to horror as they discover that, for all its amazing features, SAO is missing one of the most basic functions of any MMORPG – a log-out button. Now trapped in the virtual world of Aincrad, their bodies held captive by NerveGear in the real world, users are issued a chilling ultimatum: conquer all one hundred floors of Aincrad to regain your freedom. But in the warped world of SAO, “game over” means certain death – both virtual and real…

  1. I was finally download them all on Firefox afterwards. It’s great that it works on Firefox.

Anyway. Is it okay to talk about what happens in the novels on here? I want to talk about Kirito’s memories of the Underworld and whether he might ever regain them (someone also needs to tell him that they’re really his own memories from the tests he did for Rath, since although he’s already able to remember some bits and pieces, he doesn’t want to believe that they’re his own memories).

I’d read through Volume 19 in the fan translations before and am now trying to read through the official translation because I want to know what the official translation is like. But I don’t really remember everything from the fan translations which is also another reason for the reread. I’m on Volume 13 right now.

    1. You can discuss but you will have to use spoiler tags which aren’t easy to use.

I recommend you to just visit the subreddit and discuss there https://anon.to/XfXu7Q

      Spoiler

      Spoiler Content

To use the spoiler tag, you need to “details” “summary” Spoiler “/summary” Spoiler Content “/details” (replace the ” with open and close brackets < > )

  2. Volumes 19 and 20 both use Userscloud as their file hosting site. It doesn’t work at all. There are also only mirror links, which are the ones that direct you to Userscloud

    1. I’ve checked both links, they’re both working. Also, the mega links are still there, if you can’t see the links on this page, you should refer to the FAQ page.

    1. I just tested 12 and 19 for the normal link and it’s both working. Try another browser or press BACK and click the link again. And for (M) link, the password field is invisible, just type the password and press ENTER

  3. The download link Volume 12 takes me to a “not found” page, and the “mirror” link for it takes me to one I can’t download from (I click the link, but nothing happens. There’s also a password field, but nothing appears in it when I type. What do I do?).

  4. FYI, SAO Progressive is not a “reboot” of the SAO series.

You can call it an interquel series detailing the events of the timeskips in SAO series.

it directly continue the 3rd side story from SAO Volume 8 and keep on going forward from there onward.

It reference events of SAO series and the SAO series also references events of SAO Progressives series, even characters from SAO Progressive series show up in SAO Series.

so clearly they are the same story and not a reboot.
